FlexToBk on Reference
Enable this setting to verify that all source objects define the FlexToBk expression for their reference keys. This validation ensures consistency across your solution, maintaining data integrity and alignment throughout the system.
When enabled, build validation reports error RefRequiresFlexToBk for every referencing column on a source object that has no FlexToBk expression, and the build is treated as having metadata errors. The check applies to source-stage objects only, and the setting can be overridden per object.
When to Change This Setting
Keep the default N while a model is being built up, since partially mapped references would fail the build. Enable it once references are expected to resolve through Integration Keys everywhere, so a reference missing its FlexToBk expression is caught at build time.
