Stage Object With Business Name

When defining a Business Name for an Object in the Business Overrides section, setting this to true will use the Business Name as the staging table name.

When disabled, tables in the staging-related layers (SRC, STG, PSA, EXT, DEL) keep the source object name even when a Business Name is defined, and the Business Name takes effect from the Data Vault and Data Mart layers onward. When enabled, the Business Name is used for the staging table names as well.

When to Change This Setting​

Keep the default N to preserve source object names in staging, which keeps the staging tables directly comparable with the source system. Enable it when business naming should be established as early as the staging layer.
