Process Subfolders

Determines if a flat file source loop loads files in subfolders, of the specified source folder.

The value sets the ProcessSubfolders property on the ForEach file loop in the generated flat file extract packages, which iterates the files matching the source connection's file path and file pattern.

When to Change This Setting​

Keep the default N when all incoming files land directly in the source folder. Enable it when files are organized into subfolders (for example partitioned by date) and every matching file under the folder tree should be processed.
