Append Point In Time
The string to append to Point In Time table names.
The Create Point In Time dialog proposes the new table's name by replacing the object-type affix in the source object's name with this one: for a Hub, the Hub affix is replaced with the Point-In-Time affix (HUB_Customer proposes PIT_Customer); for a Link, the Link affix is replaced with L plus the Point-In-Time affix.
In the generated Point-In-Time table, the affix is also combined with the RowEffectiveFromDate column name (positioned per Suffix Or Prefix Object) to name the per-Satellite snapshot effective date columns.
When to Change This Setting
Change it to match your naming standard for Point-In-Time tables. It affects names proposed and generated from that point on; existing objects are not renamed.
