Append Link

The string to append to Link names.

The Accelerator derives each Link table name from the Link's Business Name combined with this affix, joined by the Object Separator and positioned according to the Suffix Or Prefix Object setting — with the default prefix behavior, a Customer_Order relationship accelerates to the LNK_Customer_Order Link. Same-As Links and Hierarchical Links use their own affixes instead.

With the default Prefix Surrogate Key value, this affix is also included in the Link's derived surrogate key column name. The Create Point In Time dialog derives PIT names for Links by replacing this affix with L plus the Point-In-Time affix.

When to Change This Setting​

Change it to match your naming standard for Link tables. Set it before accelerating — the affix is baked into object names when the Accelerator creates them, so changing it later does not rename existing objects.
