Append Hub

The string to append to Hub names.

The Accelerator derives each Hub table name from the object's Business Name combined with this affix, joined by the Object Separator and positioned according to the Suffix Or Prefix Object setting — with the default prefix behavior, the Customer Business Name accelerates to the HUB_Customer Hub. The same derivation is used for the Hubs the Accelerator creates from the Business Subjects referenced by Links.

The affix also anchors derived Data Vault names elsewhere: the Create Point In Time and Create Bridge dialogs propose their table names by replacing the Hub affix in the Hub's name with the Point-In-Time or Bridge affix.

When to Change This Setting​

Change it to match your naming standard for Hub tables. Set it before accelerating — the affix is baked into object names when the Accelerator creates them, so changing it later does not rename existing objects.
