Default Change Type

The default Change Type applied to attribute columns on Dimensions derived by the Dimensional Accelerator.

CHG (Update)Changes are applied in place, a Type 1 attribute
HST (Track History)History is kept for the column, a Type 2 attribute

The value seeds the Change Type of the attribute columns when the Dimensional Accelerator derives a Dimension; individual columns can be changed afterwards in the column editor or through the accelerator's column actions.

When to Change This Setting​

Set it to HST when new Dimensions should track history by default instead of updating in place.
