File Encoding Name
The File Encoding Name for the Azure Data Factory target File Dataset.
The value is emitted as the Encoding attribute on the generated DelimitedText, Json, and Xml file datasets, and is also applied by the Databricks file handling. For source-stage file connections, the encoding defined on the source file metadata is used instead of this setting. When the setting is blank, the attribute is omitted and the service default applies.
When to Change This Setting
Set an encoding name when the files landed for your solution use an encoding other than the service default.
