Auto Checkpoint Before Risky Operations
Determines if a snapshot checkpoint is captured automatically before operations that rewrite large parts of the workspace, such as metadata imports and accelerator publishes.
The checkpoint is a regular snapshot and can be restored at any time from the Dashboard's Snapshots list. The gate is deliberately permissive: an absent row and any value other than the literal string false leave the checkpoint enabled. Very large workspaces skip the automatic capture with a notice, so the operation is never blocked by the checkpoint itself; a failed capture also lets the operation proceed.
When to Change This Setting
Set it to false when automatic pre-operation snapshots are unwanted — for example when snapshots are managed on an explicit schedule and the extra captures add noise.
