Database References

Use this comma-delimited list to specify additional databases for matching that may not be defined as a connection when the Use Database Reference option is checked, applicable for Snowflake or SSDT.

Each comma-separated entry is trimmed and added to the set of databases considered when BimlFlex generates the database scripts, so cross-database references to databases that are not represented by a BimlFlex connection can still resolve. It complements the connection-level Use Database Reference option for Snowflake and SSDT output.

When to Change This Setting​

Leave it blank unless generated SQL references databases that have no connection defined in the metadata — for example lookups or views against a shared reference database. Add each such database name to the list, separated by commas.
